Natural Gas Pipeline Construction Planned

| Pacific Builder & Engineer (August 18, 2008) - A Texas-based pipeline company has announced plans to build a pipeline capable of carrying more than 1 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas from southwestern Wyoming to a pipeline interconnect at Malin, OR, near the California border. The pipeline is meant to serve the California natural gas market, according to published reports. |

The failing corrugated steel pipe ran about 60 feet from the end of the concrete line to an outflow point along the shore of Lake Conroe, beneath residential yards, even directly adjacent to a family's swimming pool. |

Michels’ Crews Set Large Diameter Long Distance Crossing Record

| Pipeline News (August 2008) - Michels Directional Crossing, a division of Michels Corporation, reports it has accomplished something that no other directional drilling company has done before. Crews installed a 42-inch crossing from Texas to Louisiana in excess of 6,000 feet near Orange, TX. The unique nature of this crossing made it a first of its kind for the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) industry. |

Siemens receives order for 101 MW wind farm in Oklahoma

Allegheny Energy Announces $550 Million Financing for Transmission Projects

TrAILCo intends to use the credit facilities for construction and operation of the 500-kV Trans-Allegheny Interstate Line (TrAIL) transmission line project, and other transmission-related facilities and activities. |
